Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our properties. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of property leasing, customer relationship management, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal administrative work, excellent customer service skills, and experience with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
Duties:
- Manage all aspects of property leasing, including marketing vacancies, conducting property tours, and screening potential tenants
- Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including Section 8 and LIHTC programs
- Oversee rent collection and delinquency management processes
- Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, working closely with vendors and contractors
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of property expenses, income, and tenant information
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial reports
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants, addressing their needs and concerns promptly
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations related to property management
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Property Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of legal administrative work related to property management
- Proficient in office administration tasks such as record keeping, filing, and correspondence
- Familiarity with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi is preferred
- HOA experience required
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with tenants
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
